The village came through once again. The overwhelming response of donations for the auction gave us the grand total of $(5,137.00). This will greatly help with the improvements to the golf course and help the Friends of Beaver Flat committee to make improvements to recreational areas. We will be making this a yearly event set for August long week-end so people can plan to attend each year and prepare for future donations. It will also allow us to advertise larger valued items on the web site and general store for future bidders. A grateful thank-you to Cindy Griffin, Vivian Wolfater, & Glennis Steinley for the setting up, keeping the auction running smoothly and the cleaning up and also to Judy Klein for the last minute volunteering to help collect the grand total. Also, thank you to Gary Winkleman and Jim Spencer for the great show that all ages enjoyed, and to Travis Steinley and his band for volunteering the great music that kept the crowd dancing. To the Golf Committee and all who volunteered to run the bar. Jerry and Carrie Olson for helping me with the mission of asking neighbors, families, and friends for the incredible donations that all could bid on. Also to Gary and Deb Winkleman for allowing their house to be a drop off point for donations when we were gone. To Ray Wolfater and my better half Doug Weinbender for helping set up the hall and doing some of the heavier tasks for us ladies. The biggest Thank-you goes to the cabin owners of Beaver Flat and business owners who without you it would not have been such a great success.
THANK YOU ALL !!!!!
